
The Physical Education Program provides a comprehensive and sequential progression of learning experiences which con-tributes to the total growth and development of students. Students review and refine skills and sport strategies while developing a positive approach to fitness. Also, they are able to select activities within the program according to their interests.
The Health Education Program provides students with a comprehensive study of various aspects of personal health, including fitness, nutrition, disease, first aid, mental health, safety, community health and welfare, and substance use and abuse. In addition to the basic ninth and tenth grade health program, students may elect a human behavior course that includes in-depth discussions of group behaviors, family relations and family living.
