Unified Arts & Business

The business program is designed to develop problem-solving skills for everyday life, to identify goals, to analyze methods of achieving those goals and to assist students in making informed career choices. These courses are not only valuable preparation for those students whoare planning for a career in business, but also for those interested in other career paths. The business methods and skills taught will be useful to students entering the business field immediately after graduation, as well as to those planning to attend college or a business school.

Students have the opportunity to obtain 9 or 12 college credits at Norwalk Community Technical College if they successfully complete, with a grade of "C" or better, 3 or 4 of the following courses: Keyboarding 1, Word Processing 1, 2, Microsoft Office 1, 2 and Advanced Microsoft Office. College credit for the courses taken in high school may be requested after successful completion of one semester at Norwalk Community-Technical College.
