Dear Students, Faculty, Parents/Guardians:

Requirement for ALL Graduating Seniors:

  • Practice 1: Friday - June 13th, 2008 @ 10:15 am in the SHS Gymnasium
  • Practice 2: Monday - June 16th, 2008 @ 9:00 am in the SHS Cafeteria
  • Graduation: Tuesday - June 17th, 2008 @ 3:00 pm in SHS Gymnasium (To assemble)
  • Commencement begins at 4:00 pm in Boyle Stadium on June 17th, 2008

Final examinations will be held during the week of June 9, 2008. Monday, June 9, 2008 will be a regular school day. The exams will be administered on the following schedule:

Tuesday, June 10  
Period 1 and 2 Exams
Wednesday, June 11
Period 3 and 4 Exams
Thursday, June 12
Period 5 and 6  Exams
Friday, June 13
Period 7 and Make-up Exams

DELAYED OPENING TIME SCHEDULE

8:55 - 9:15

General Information - Pupils will remain in their classroom for the entire preiod. However, students who have completed work on their examiniations may be dismissed at 9:15 and 11:15, respectively.

Cafeteria - The cafeteria will be closed June 10 through June 19.

Study Halls - During the examinations a full period Study Hall is available for pupils in the Cafeteria. Pupils using this area must remain for the entire period.

Students arriving after an examination period has started
will report to the Cafeteria and remain there until 9:15 or 11:15, respectively.

Corridors - Must remain clear while examinations are in progress.

Attendance - Teachers will keep very accurate records of attendance on each examination day.

School Buses - June 10 through June 19 - the regular buses will leave from the REAR of the School at dismissal times.

In case of a school closing on an examination day, the exam schedule will resume with the missed examination and continue in the original sequence.
