Boys State is a program that emphasizes participation. Hands on and learn-by doing program for high school juniors that will immerse students in government and politics for the week. Syracuse University Summer College
Provides current sophomores and juniors the opportunity to jump-start their college career. Offers over 50 courses and programs. Six week courses are credit-bearing, earning either 6 or 7 college credits. Two and four week programs also, however most are noncredit. Some of the programs offered are architecture, engineering and computer science, forensic science, law, liberal arts, media literacy and many more. UConn Mentor Connection
Residential summer program from July 8-27 on Storrs campus for bright and motivated young people. This program is very competitive and for students in the 10th and 11th grades. Students must have a 3.0 and place in the top 25% of their class. The cost of the summer program is $3,100 but full and partial scholarships are available. Students that attend will get an in-depth look at an area of interest by working on real research and creative projects under the supervision of university mentors.
