School Counseling Services
Welcome to Stamford High School’s College and Career Center.
We are located in the “A” building by the front door, right across from the Main Office.
The College and Career Center is a hub for students in all grade levels to connect with resources and individuals to impact their post secondary plan and success. We can assist students with writing resumes, interview skills, college searches, common app completion, financial aid, military connections, scholarship searches, career searches and more. The College and Career Center offers another layer of support additional to the student’s school counselor. Assistance is offered in multiple ways through workshops and individual sessions. All up-to date information can be reviewed in the weekly College & Career Center newsletter sent to students and families by the College and Career Coordinator, Ms. Vazquez.
Rep visits are available to students on a weekly basis from September through November in the fall, and then again from March through April in the spring. Rep visits are welcome from colleges, universities, military branches, trade schools, and the work force. Please sign in to your student Naviance account using Clever to review the list of upcoming rep visits and to register. These are opportunities to connect with representatives from colleges, the military, and trade schools to learn about programs and offerings.
